Implementing conversational BI in the private sector is hard; doing it for a public sector school administration is a different beast entirely. In December 2025, we kicked off a pilot with Göteborgs Stad. By the time we stand on this stage, we will have 3 months of real-world data, user feedback, and likely a few scars to show for it.
This talk moves beyond the hype of “chatting with data” to explore the practical reality of deploying AI in a municipality. We will share the unpolished truth of our journey: navigating strict compliance, managing expectations for a diverse, non-technical user base, and the technical realities of bridging modern AI and municipal data. A transparent look at what happened when we tried to bring AI to the classroom administration.
