Josef Lindman Hörnlund holds a PhD from Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), where he researched symmetry algebras in string theory. He transitioned from theoretical physics to applied AI and eventually co-founded Modulai, an ML consultancy where he is currently the CEO, specializing in taking models from a business problem to production. He is also a co-founder and organizer of GAIA, dating back to 2014 when the organisation was just a small meetup group.
