Welcome to the 2026 GAIA Conference!
Jakob co-founded GAIA in 2018 after leading the Machine Learning and Data Science (GBG) meetup, where 60-seat events started filling up in five minutes and it became clear that Gothenburg needed something bigger. He has served as Chair since 2019 and has helped grow the conference into the premier AI events in the Nordics, welcoming over 1,200 attendees. By day, Jakob is Vice President of Engineering at Anaphora, where he leads the product and tech organisation. He holds an M.Sc. in Complex Adaptive Systems from Chalmers University of Technology.
