Abstract
As a company with extensive experience in everything from forest management to paper pulp, building systems, biofuel and renewable energy products, Södra are continuously exploring new ways to optimize our operations. Our AI journey started as a “speedboat” within the company with the founding of Södra’s Flight Tower, an analytics & AI department focusing on data-driven end-to-end optimization of our value chain across all business units, and is now transforming into a company wide ambition centered around data democracy and transparency.
During the meetup, we will dive deep into various aspects of our AI journey: We will start with value chain analytics and end-to-end optimization, where predictive and prescriptive models underpin critical decisions and deliver valuable business plans. We will further explore our operational intelligence program, where we use data to identify industrial bottlenecks and inefficiencies to further optimize our operations. Additionally, we will discuss our Södra Data Platform (SDP), which is an essential part of our AI infrastructure. SDP enables us to automate and harmonize data sources across all business units, promoting data democratization and enabling traceability for the business support that our organization generates.
Join us for an insightful evening of learning and networking with fellow AI enthusiasts. We look forward to seeing you at the meetup!
