Abstract

We are building the leading data science team in the Nordics. Backed by 28 big companies, we are on a mission to solve complex problems across industries. At GAIA, we are planning to talk about it for real, for the first time.

Meet Nina and Benny, two of our senior data scientists who have recently been working together with Mölnlycke Healthcare on a solution for wound treatment. We will go through a short proof-of-concept for data gathered at a large set of hospitals using the TissueAnalytics app for Mölnlycke Healthcare. We will present our analysis of the estimation of wound healing as well as the challenges of augmenting unstructured data, and of building a recommender system for wound treatment.

I have a PhD in mathematics with several years of research experience. Currently, I work as a data scientist at Combient while being a researcher at Uppsala University. He will talk, together with Nina, about building a recommender system for wound treatment of chronic wounds for Mölnlycke Healthcare.
